Is this actually a burp, or is it like vomiting?

For those of you that are using the little 1/2c size containers, how many do you go through in a day? That amount of food doesn't seem like much at all, so how are you getting enough of what you actually need?

I actually thought of this too. My problem is that I don't think I could get that full feeling without having the Lap Band as a tool. BTW: I haven't been banded yet, just my two cents.

If you click on the Fox link that I posted it actually shows part of the procedure for applying the lap band. In that video the doctor even states that it reduces the amount of pain killers needed after the surgery. I also had my tubal that way. No one would ever know I've had it done, no visible scars at all.

Pardon my silly questions but... Can you feel that tube inside you? Does it move around? Any creepy-crawly feelings from it?

Well... that leads to another question I've had. I normally sleep on my stomach, or mostly on my stomach and turned a little on my side. Is that still possible after this procedure?

To those who already have the band: can you feel the port? can you see it? is there a lump on your abdomen somewhere? Sorry for the weird questions, I am seriously thinking of getting this surgery but need more info.

I'm with Blue Cross/Blue Shield through General Motors. Anyone know if they cover this surgery? I'm really considering having this done; just beginning the research of information. Thank you! :biggrin:
