Fills in Spokane, Sept 12, $175- northwestfills.com

Recommended Posts

:rolleyes2:Hi there,

Just wanted to let you all know that the fantastic ladies from Northwest Fill Management will be in Liberty Lake on September 12th doing fills. I have used Kitty and Robin for my fills exclusively (I had my surgery done in Mexico) and they do a great job. The office is in Liberty Lake at the same location as the Urgent Care. If you want to schedule a fill on that day, go to their site www.northwestfills.com and email or call them for an appointment.

HI,

Nice to read that others in Spokane had a Lap-Band put on out side of the US too! (Mine = Mexico). I have had one fill (that went great) with Fill Management (when they came to Spokane) and in need of one now. (I understand why they are not going to be in Spokane in September and not sure when they will return.) Bottom line.. Do you know of someone in the Spokane Area that will do fills on LAp-Bands done in Mexico?

Erik

Erik,

Dr. Trotter at Spokane Surgeons will do fills on patients banded in Mexico, not sure what he charges though. His number is 344-3100

Dr. Trotter charges $2500 for a year's worth of fills. Ridiculous and outrageous! I'm going to get a fill in Portland, or maybe when the NW fills ladies come again.

I looked at their calendar and they don't have anything listed for Spokane. I'll give them a call. The site did say that they don't use flouroscopy, which I don't like.

How many fills have you had? Have you had a bad experience? I have had 5 fills and I believe that if you have a competant person doing your fills there should be no reason you would need flouroscopy.

Just curious.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
