Returned shakes to GNC

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I tested GNC's taste guarantee on their shakes. I did not like their strawberry or mixed berry whey Protein Shakes. I returned them with the receipt and exchanged them for new flavors. These shakes are really expensive. It's great to know you can return them if you do not like the taste.

I also found a great food journal there called "DietMinder." It's perfect for keeping track of everything you eat and exercise.

That is good to hear - I have a few different flavors of Isopure that are just noxious - I'd love to exchange them for something else. Thanks for the tip!

GNC is awesome!!!! I bought alot of my preop stuff there, gettin protien powders, Multi Vitamins and ready made drinks (spent $150) and I was concerned that I might not like the taste of it. They told me that I could return the opened items after trying them as long as it was within 30 days of the receipt and I provided them with the receipt. I also got their yearly bonus card, which only cost $10 and gave me like $50 off my first order and you can use it on any purchases to get great discounts. I love GNC

gonna have to check this out. i've been looking into buying those Protein bullets...the gurantee makes me feel better about trying them.

Other people may be able to take the bullets straight, but I find them too sweet for that. I pour a bit into each crystal light I drink and they add a great little punch of flavor! I've tried them all and have decided to only keep the fruit punch on hand.

I've found GNC is very good about that. I bought some bottles of Isoprotein for right after the surgery when I could only have Clear Liquids. I overestimated what I needed and a week or so after the surgery returned the excess with no questions asked.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
