Ugh, pre-op diet

I have totally failed this pre-op diet. Thats it. Plain flat out failed at it. I havent stuck to it. At all. Thats just the plain blunt honest to God truth. My BMI is 39, so I hope my liver is not fatty, and they can still do it laproscopic. I mean I have lost about 7 lbs during the 2 weeks from when I did stick to it. Help me, I feel awful.

I dont know. Maybe I jumped to do this surgery too quick. I didnt have a chance to get all the "eating out of my system". I was approved by insurance in one day and surgery was scheduled for 2 days later! I know I can do it, I just HAVE to get my mind there!!!! Maybe I am having a rough moment! I dont know. Now i am scared of them not being able to do it laser. UGH i am so mad at myself.

Hi Robyn... please stop beating yourself up... I only had to do liquids for 1 week prior to my surgery... 4/6/05....

It was really tough and I did sneak a few pretzels here and there...my BMI is also 39... and once my surgery was done and I was home less than 24 hours I was crying on my hubbys shoulder..."What have I done"... that passed pretty quickly when I realized "Why" I did this in the first place... I am now 7 weeks out with one fill... (go for my second on the 31st)... and I can eat anything right now.. its terrible.. I have no control and I have no restriction...but I know it will happen... I will get to that sweetspot and be on the loosing side... so stop beating yourself up... you will be fine.. and you have to just remember you are doing this for you and your family... you will be a healthier you! So.. good luck with your surgery... I will be thinking of you.. let me know how you make out!!!.... just remember to take it easy and let your body heal itself!!!... God Bless....
