PLEASE HELP, I'm stuck!

Recommended Posts

Sorry, but I wouldn't make myself sick. I'd drink the pineapple juice in very small sips. Otherwise, the juice will just come up with the slime. Standing and walking around also helps.

Hi:

Try sitting in a chair and putting your legs out in front of you. Now, lean as far as you can toward touching your toes. I found this to be helpful once for me.

I hope you're unstuck soon.

Sue

Walk. Bend over and press very gently on your stomach. Take some papaya enzyme pills. While walking, promise yourself you will never ever eat that food again for the rest of your life.

This is what I do, anyway.

OMG! I was stuck this weekend for the very first time. I eventually threw up. Not what I wanted to do,but I tried everything and nothing helped.

I was too tight and had to have some some restriction taken out of my band today; only about a half a cc. but still.

Good luck keep us posted on how its going. If it gets too bad or painful call the doctor. I got yelled at today for not calling him over the weekend.

Mix some meat tenderizer with Water and drink it.

I've done that before and it worked.

OK so ... I am getting my first fill tomorrow and now that I am over 4 weeks out I have been good but know that I have very little restriction. That will all change in 18 hours from now. Regarding the meat tenderizer and Water, what is the after math of that? Do you vomit or does the food just pass?

Well it does one or the other. If you have eaten too much you will slime and possibly have a PB (productive burp). If it's mostly the pain you are feeling, you can wait it out and the food should finally pass. Eventually you learn to really notice the full feeling before you get to the stuck point.

I've only done it once and the food passed very quickly. I don't know if it was the meat tenderizer or if it was just ready to go down. I was in pain for 10 minutes and then tried the meat tenderizer and within 2 minutes it was better.

Keep in mind that for some people the first fill doesn't provide a lot of restriction. I had some restriction for a few days and then was back to the way I was before. The 2nd fill provided more restriction and the 3rd fill a lot of restriction. I didn't need another fill for 5 months after that one.

Good luck!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
