loss in bust size

When people loose weight, does your bust size go down as well? I have never experienced that in the past, but i am hoping with the band i will shrink on top as well..

Hey Juju, I haven't lost a bust size yet, but I've lost some size round my bra band. There have been a couple of converstations round this subject. I'll bump a thread, but please do a search on this topic. It will be interesting to see what you come up with

I lose from top to bottom...face/neck first, then sholders, including bust but after nursing 2 children and weight fluctuations, my bra is the only thing holding it all up anyway, so now the girls just sit in my bra and don't spill over as much. humph. I anticipate the waist, tummy, butt and legs to start shrinking here after a while, but it's definately a top to bottom thing for me.

You will definately lose some in the bust. Maybe not as much as you wish, but even if your cup size doesn't go down, your number will, like from a 38 to 36 or 34. I'm still a 40 though. sigh.

I've finally gone down in my band size. I used to be a 52, now I'm a 49. I don't think I've lost in cup size, thank God! Because I'm only a B to begin with!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
