lovin myself sick!!!

Recommended Posts

I went to a lingerie party yesterday which strangely sold more clothes than knickers. Anyway I liked a pair of jeans and they had a 14 on the rack and someone said try them on for size, I was like "ha ha your funny I wont get them over my knees but ok I will humour you". THEY FIT!!!!!!! I stood gobsmacked for about 5 minutes. I cant believe that in this short amount of time I have gone from size 24 to 14/16. And no I have not starved or thrown up every day I eat healthy normal meals.

Another laugh I had was when I wanted to buy bras and I had no idea what size I am because my curent bras have way too much material loose. According to her I am now 16c and the bra I was wearing was 22E, dont know if thats good or not, oh well thats what plastic surgery was invented for.:)

lol this is great news! I so can't wait to be there myself. The bras don't sound like too good a thing, but you could get yourself some size 16 for the mean time, til you reach goal.

Congrats on the great job done!

Congraulations Nat, what an achievement. I can't wait to get into size 14! My size 16 jeans are getting a little loose so another few kgs and I should be there.

You SHOULD be loving yourself sick, Nat! You're a legend!

As for the boobs, yes PS is always something you can use to correct that! My DH reckons if I lose my DD boobs when I lose the weight, he's kicking in for a boob job to go with the tummy tuck! Lol!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
