Hello all...Sorry that I have been away for almost a month! (ugh!) I did take a business trip to Vegas and got to meet the FAMOUS DELARLA in the flesh! She's even prettier in person and a truly nice person.

I've also been on vacation to Florida and did the beach thing. And we all know that tan fat looks better than white fat.

Although I've been pretty busy I think the main reason for my absense has been my lack of progress. I just had my 2nd fill and I've only lost 4 lbs. since my first two fills. All of my real weightloss came with my liquid and mushy phases. I am eating healthier and I do exercise more (but not as much as I should)...I just really expected faster results with this MAJOR lifestyle change.

All in all, I can't complain though. I've dropped a dress size and I can see a glimmer of hope at the end of this VERY long tunnel. I suppose I thought that restriction would be greater than it is after two fills. The good news is that I still have never even come close to a PB.

Glad to be back...

Thanks Michelle....I did have a NSV when I went to Vegas....The airplane ride....need I say more? I sat across from someone that had to get a belt extension and it made me grateful for my 20lbs lost. That 20 gone let me squeeze my wide butt into a seat!

We weigh about the same and seem to have the same issues right now. I have lost 10 pounds since surgery and have had one fill and have another scheduled. The last few days I have really tried getting alot more Water in and I think I have lost some more weight. I only weigh once a week, but I feel alot better. I have also been using fit day and I usually eat about 1200 calories. So something has to work soon. Good luck with your struggles.

What about inches? And are you doing things that were difficult before? Every victory counts.

I know I've gained 18 pounds in the last year and could continue to spiral upward without surgery. I could either continue and gain another 18 pounds next year or have surgery and begin the downward spiral. If I lose 18 pounds in the next year, Iwill be 36 pounds less that I would have potentially been.

I am at about the same weight as you guys. If we lose slowly, we won't have the excess skin issues or as many wrinkles.

Hang in there and it will pay off.

Welcome Back, so what part of Florida did you visit? Were you near me, cause if you were, I wish we could have met. Pouting!!! Well, just glad that your back, I have been at my same weight for about a month and I'm hating it, but i hate to go get another fill, when I am just now able to eat a bit more normally. I had been too restricted and wasn't getting enough food in, so maybe now that I'm eating healthier, I will see some results, but I am bad in that I don't drink my Water like I should and I am not excersising... WHat's wrong with me, why can't I do what I need to do to get to my goal??

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
