I am a newbie just had my band on may 5th, so I'm still getting use to it and everything. Your an old pro by now I'm sure. Congrats on your weight reduction. You must be proud. Well thought I'd say hi and welcome to the site. Good Luck.:P

i am proud it was totally worth every penny , also u will get used to it as long as u can get used to chewing well and eating certain things , other then that not to bad i havent worked out yet either i used to all the time before got to 200 then accident where 18 wheeler hit my acura integra then my back was messed up so i started to gain weight really fast. but soon as i get my butt up to work out i think i wil have even better success with the lap-band . i think im going to enjoy this site

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
