Anyone else close to being under 300lbs????

Recommended Posts

Hello Tess,

I haven't been around for a while. I quit coming to the site with my own disappointment. But, I finally am past the 50 pounds mark. I have been going up and down the same four pounds for two months. I was getting frustrated. I finally went and got a fill last week and lost a total of seven pounds. I am down a total of 53 pounds since march.

I hope you are doing well. thanks for all the support. your awesome.

I have a quick question, I got banded on June 25th. I had my first fill on 7/21 ans am scheduled for the next fill on Monday. I was losing great until the first fill and was put on solid food. I have only lost 6 pounds in the last month. Is it normal to slow down the weight loss right after the first fill or am I doing something wrong? I am never hungry and have a hard time eating anything.

Russ-Remember we are only supposed to lose 1-2 pounds a week, so that makes you right on target!!!!!! That is a wonderful weightloss!!!! Sounds to me you're doing great!!!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
