  1. The only time i have had reflux is if my band is too tight; and it only happens at night time if i eat before i go to bed.
  2. I too can eat bread. I try not to because it fills me up quicker. I cannot tolerate fish, eggs, chicken and gooey floury things. I still puree my noodles in sauce.

  4. Hi Tess, I am so proud of you. you must feel great? Keep it going. and, congrats to you mominlv. Lorinda
  5. I am thinking of DETOX from the ugly stuff. been there, not fun.
  6. I was a cranky cry baby. I didn't know what the heck I had gotten myself into. but now, I think my frustrations were due to not be able to eat what I want and how much I wanted. I had a difficult time while I was on the pre-op diet and then two weeks of liquids and two weeks of mooshies after surgery. I felt deprived from the temporary comfort I received from food. I am getting used to the idea now, after six months, but I still want to go back to old habits and eat the wrong foods and eat way too fast; and that is when I get extremely frustrated and cranky. Just hang in there and it does get better, however you will have your day too.
  7. Hi Tess, You will get there. I have faith. keep hanging in there. It seems to me that you are doing all the right stuff ( isn't that a new kids on the block song " the right stuff?" just a little humor). I love this thread. I have been in and out of the 300's so many times that I am hoping this will be it and never again. my highest was 350+ and I say plus because my weight was not readable cuz the scale did not go over 350. I am happy to have you and the rest of the bansters here for support. Thanks.
  8. I went in for my fill on 9.19.08. they put in .8 cc's. making me a total of 8.8 cc's. However, I went right back in on Wednesday to get an unfull of .4 cc's. I was just too tight. .8 cc's has been my smallest fill, so I am guessing that I am getting to my sweet spot, I am hoping. since my unfill I can eat more but I know when I am full faster. I would rather be a little too loose than too tight. So, there ya go. here is my update. I hope all is well with you TESS.
  9. Good job Tess. I too have been waiting to get the ball rolling. I have not last a pound since my last fill. I am scheduled for another fill on Friday. lets us know when you hit your mark under 300. good job and keep up the hard work...
  10. Hello Tess, I haven't been around for a while. I quit coming to the site with my own disappointment. But, I finally am past the 50 pounds mark. I have been going up and down the same four pounds for two months. I was getting frustrated. I finally went and got a fill last week and lost a total of seven pounds. I am down a total of 53 pounds since march. I hope you are doing well. thanks for all the support. your awesome.
  11. Hi Tess, Thanks for the support. I have really been needing it, lol, I sound like a me me me person. I normally am not, but I have really had a tough time since being banded. I am not blaming the band, it is just all of the sudden I started having alot of health issues; depression, pneumonia ( 2 X in one and half months)... etc. I have been feeling so much better now, thank GOD! I really wanted to thank you because you are so motivational and supportive to everyone you contact. I notice your post on different threads and you always have that positive attitude. I wish you the best of luck and best of health...... your awesome!
  12. I am getting closer to the 50 pounds.... Three more pounds to go.....yeah!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Up Date: I Had My Fifth Fill On 6.16.08. And I Have One Unfill.
  14. I didn't realize that there are other people out there that weighed more than 300 lbs..... my highest was 350+. that is my highest weight recorded because that is highest my scale went. I have gained a pound this week. I think that I need to start a exercise program..... yuk. I too will let every one know when I hit the 50 pound lost mark.... can't wait. Everyone is doing great. Congratulations to everyone......
  15. wishing you all a wonderful weekend for those who are dad's........ including those who are a mere image to someone who needs a dad.
