Anyone else close to being under 300lbs????

Recommended Posts

I can finally see 200's in my future!!! It's been several years since I've been below 300 and it didn't last long on previous attempts, but I'm feeling pretty confident this time with my band it will be different! I hope I'm right!!!!

I've been doing good the last 2 weeks... doing exercise and following rules!!! Anyone else want to join me in the short term goal of getting rid of the "3" being the first digit in our weight?????????

Tess

Hi Tess! It looks like we were banded on the same day and have lost very close to the same amount. Plus, I'm 8 or 9 pounds (6 pounds without clothes) away from being in the 2's! So, yes, let's work together to get there. We can do it!

Sounds great to me!!!! We are only a day apart on are fill dates too!! That's so cool to meet you! How do you feel? Do you have a good restriction? I've been feeling really good, a lot more energy! Have you noticed more energy?

Glad to meet you!

Tess

I reached a mini goal of gettin into the 320's.......so 29 more till the 200's. Wow......it's kind of unthinkable. I can see myself smaller, and I can remember being smaller. Getting back to the reality of numbers is cool...I was 310 in 1993 when I had a daughter and it's weird to feel like I'm going in reverse in a sense.

Keeping my focus on my mini goals here.

Way to go girls! :(

Yes, I feel great! I definitely have more energy and want to do more than I did in the past. I don't think I've reached my perfect restriction. I feel like I could eat more without negative consequences, but I don't. I've been really diligent about following the program my doctor and nutritionist laid out for me. And, surprise surprise, it's working! I only got 2.5 cc in my first fill (I'm not sure how much my band holds, but am planning to ask my doctor when I go for my next fill 7/8.) It's great to meet you too! Feel free to reach out to me any time, and let's keep posting here over the next few weeks as we reach that 299 mark! We are doing so good!:(

This is a great idea. I was banded on 4/11 but have had to have my port removed due to infection. So no fill for me yet but so far I have been happy with my 1/2 cup of food and have been staying on plan easily. I started at 339 (day before surgery) and now I am at 309 so it is really close for me. I have not been under 300 in 4 years and then only breifly. I had been a really long time before that. I am so excited. I can wear things I haven't worn for a long time and get this I had on a pair of short that actually fell off when I stood up. How cool is that. I can't get my ticker to update but I am just about there. Let's Celebrate together. Yeah!!!:(

Seeing a 2 in the hundreds place has been a goal of mine for months now. When I started this process I weighed 350 pounds. I was hoping for 300 or less by my surgery, but unless I lose 17-22 pounds in 10 days I won't make it. That's okay though because I was in the 330's and above for longer than I can remember!

I hit under the 300 hundred mark about two weeks ago. I am very pleased with my weight loss. I was banded march 21st, and starting with my preopdiet I weighed in at 330. I am currently at 288. So, WOW. even though I am under the three hundred mark I still would like to make a small personal goal to lose 28 pounds by the end of August.

I had an unfill this past monday, and I will be going in on 6/16 to get asmall fill. they took out 1 cc and I hope they put in at least .6 cc. they took out more than they put in on Friday...so I hope they put at least .6 cc back in.

Good luck to everyone!

I also just reached the 300 mark. I cried when I got to move that clunker thing on the scale to the 250 mark. 287 today. It is a great feeling. Keep up the good work. I will be following your progress, can't wait to see you all hit the mark!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
