I found out a couple of days ago that my port has flipped...has anyone dealt with his/her flipped port without revision surgery?

I haven't heard the full plan from my Dr's office yet. Just wondering how others have experienced the problem.

Yes I found out yesterday that my port was flipped when I went in for my first fill. THis morning, I went in the out patient department and my Dr went in there and fixed it. IT only took about 30 mins to ..They put an IV in your, knock you out for a little bit threw there, no mass or nothing, cuts you in the same cut you have fixes it and your done. Then He fills it while he is in there, when you are awake, he give you Water to drink to see if you are not to tight or not, then in 1 hour you go home. I was there from 10:30 to 12:30 am and Now I hope everything is good...I go in 2 weeks for another fill and hope it is not fillped....and I didn't have to pay nothing for this..

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
