You have to contact each WISH center individually. The price can vary depending on location. They do have a band program for fills for those that are not banded by wish surgeons or in other countries and offer support groups, nutritionists and some follow up care. The site is: www.wishcenter.org and the places/contact #'s are:

Arizona 866.597.9474

Illinois 800.646.4774

Ohio 888.854.9474

Texas 888.646.9474

Washington 877.291.9474

Locations are: Tempe, AZ Downers Grove, IL Springboro, OH San Antonio TX Renton, WA

you must also meet their criteria for admission to the program (basically be band healthy and no problems/complications and be minimum of 6 weeks post op)

Hope this helps! :D

The wish center is a total joke. I wouldn't send my dog to them. They are terrible at returning calls, they employees that talk to patients have NO idea what they are talking about. I swear they just called some agency and got a temp and said, "here, talk to our patients".

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
