weird full signals

Recommended Posts

I've read somewhere on here that different people have different full signals. I've noticed lately that when I eat I don't feel an automatic "I'm full" feeling...I just figure that I've eaten enough. Later on, my back has a dull ache and even the roof of my mouth and the back of my throat kinda have an achey sensation to them. This lasts for a couple of hours. If this is my "full" signal, it's very different from what I'm used to. It makes me feel groggy and lethargic.

Today for Breakfast I had a half cup of raisin bran with skim milk and was fine.

For lunch, I had a lettuce/tomato salad with some hard boiled eggs and turkey lunch meat cut up. I've been feeling the above symptoms ever since.

I still haven't had my first fill.....

Does anyone else feel this way?

My full feeling is when I can FEEL the food SLOWLY making it's way down. Then I know, "Okay, there's no more room." Then I stop and about 10 minutes later, I am no longer hungry. But then I get hungry about 3 hours later if not sooner. ANd I have already had my first fill of 1cc. I go in again on the 7th to get an additional fill.

Well I want to know too, I usually start to hiccup and by that time I'm overfull and pb, I still don't have the hang of this thing and its very frustrating, sometimes I can eat certain things, sometimes I can't, personally I am very annoyed by the whole thing, most days I sit here and think if this whole process was worth it, I sit here and wish I could eat one of those massive burgers they prepare at CHilli's, oh boy, I can't stand it, I want one of those burgers so bad. But I can't, I can't even eat bread, this is a lot tougher than I ever imagined, I am sure it will be worth it in the end, but meanwhile I am left here wondering. Well hope someone can help with this question.

I actually tried a Jr. Cheesburger Deluxe at Wendy's last week. I got half way and was feeling like I was full but could still fit some more. Then I felt that awful stuck feeling and I was driving and had to pull over. I wasn't sure if I was going to throw up or what. I didn't, but needless to say, half of the top bun was thrown away. I just can't do hamburger bread. Sometime toast is okay, but I have to eat it extremely slow and one is enough. But give me some saltine crackers with melted cheese on them and Tuna-mayo-hotsauce on top, and I can eat about 30 of those things.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
