OK ladies and Gents
this pass Sunday, I went shopping for some new pants. as I was stripping off my clothes, I took a long long long look at the women staring back at me.
I was in my underwear and bra turning around to check out every possible angle and was in shock at what I saw. I saw the hanging stomach and was lifting it up to see how I might look when the time comes for PS. I have loose hanging skin in the inner thighs ( that upset me more than anything) I held up my arms and they are in a world of their own.
I check out my ass, and am happy to announce its holding up nicely. and the grand finally, I removed the bra. no shock there. boobs have been headed south for a while (breastfed 3 out of 4 kids) but what shocked me most was the face. the women starring back was smiling. she had a new spark to her eyes. she is beautiful. she is proud and strong, and is truly happy.
having the band has giving me hope and strength, yeah! I might b***h when this band is causing me a little discomfort, but all in all I have been been blessed by God.
Gone are the days of eating myself into a food coma, gone are the days of eating just to eat. gone are the days of eating in secret. gone are the days of going back for 2nds, thirds and just that last bite to hit the spot.
I have stood in front of the mirror before, and yes it always shocks me. how could I have done this to myself. what in my life could have caused me to overeat so much to harm this body, my temple.my being. I have ask myself those questions a dozen times. childhood, marriage, children, boredom, depression, happiness. the joy of eating. I don't have the answers. (call Oprah).
