High Triglyceride Level Question

I just got the results back from some blood work that I had done a few weeks ago. The tests indicated that my cholesterol level was normal, but my triglyceride level was high and my hdh was low. I am doing a low carb diet to try to bring my Triglyceride level down... I am scheduled to have lap band surgery on 03/28/2008 and I am worried that my liver will be too fatty to do the surgery. If anyone has any advise it would be greatly appreciated.

Fatty liver is usually diagnosed with a test called LFT ( liver function test). I've been told the best way to reduce Trigs is cut sugar. an online search might give you more answers.
