time of the month issues....

I just got to thinking.... (i know, dangerous stuff). Anywhoooo, I am being banded end of March and that is exactly the time of my, well, womanly flows. I know I hate to discuss this, but does anyone think that is a bad idea? Women are more tender then so I am wondering if maybe cramping and bloating because of my period will make things worse? Any comments? What about getting fills close to that "time of the month"? Someone shoot me if this is a dumb question, and someone better respond soon before I do a DeLarla and delete this post! (ha ha ha)

Hey...it's not a bad question! I started my period the day before they put me under to do my EGD. I was worried about having a tampon in going under anestesia (sp?), so I called the nurse to ask her about it. I felt like a total idiot when she said, "That's not the end we are interested in, dear."

LMAO, okay, I feel better. I told my husband about my question and he said about the same thing... what do they need to look down there for? I kiddingly said, well my doc is very handsome. Without skipping a beat he retorted, "well I hope he buys you breakfast in the morning like I did". ha ha ha ha... too funny! I love my hubbie!
