Here is a typical menu plan for me....

B: slim fast or oatmeal

S: south beach Meal Replacement bar

L: Lil'lunchable (turkey) for toddlers (140 cal and 10 g Protein

grapes

S: 4 Peanut Butter and crackers and a Jello cup

D: 3-4oz salmon and half of a baked potato

S: pudding cup with granola or Weight Watchers icecream bar

I range between 1200-1500 calories a day and I exercise 6-7 times a week for 1-2 hours.

I also have no fill and am losing just fine.....this is my typical day!

B: weight control oatmeal 1/2 cup; 16 grms Protein

S: unjury Protein shake with skim milk; 20 grms Protein

L: chicken breast 2oz and slice of cheese low fat skim; 12 grms protein

S: Unjury Protein Shake with skim milk; 20 grms protein

D: Pot Roast w vegtables 3 ounces; 16 grams protein

I drink between 8 and 9 glasses of Water a day and more when I think about it I am sipping all the time.

I work out 6 days a week at the Club doing Water aerobics and walking and riding bike....I also do a Body Pump class once a week!

So far I have had no hunger and am losing very well, my surgeon said no fill in sight for now.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
