Love skiing - DH came home last night with snowboarding "stuff". I'm like your kidding? You are NOT that coordinated, he gives a whole new meaning to being able to Walk & Chew Gum at the same time.

He played college Football - only knows how to throw guys around, I can't WAIT to see him try snowboarding ... Will make my trip:)

YES !! *he does have a butt..." hee hee....

The snow pants he bought look like a down comforter. Snowboarding just appears to be too much work, I bet I find his A$$ in the lodge on lift 9 having some wine after his first run:)

yep i bet you do... it looks very cool but its just not as much fun as skiing. Of course i was a teen when i did this and thats when snow boarding was just getting popular.

he will be a crying whinney baby at night and youll have to kiss it all better i bet! Well that would be me anyway

Is it home time yet?

Thanks Lulu and Whosya on the weight loss!! I get really frustrated when my scale doesn't move - grrrrrr. I know - the #(*#%&^ scale is evil and I can't stay off of it!!

My new mantra - I'm gaining muscle - I'm gaining muscle - that's why I'm not losing weight. Oh yeah - I need some fairy dust ...

Have fun skiing Lulu!! My DH wants to do snowboarding next time we go. Scares me a tad and NO way they are getting me on one.

Last time I went (13 years ago) I fell down after the first trip up and had to be ski'd down in a body bag - nice. I'm hoping I'm a little more coordinated now so next time I won't hurt myself!

I am so glad to have my C25K family. Today was week 3 day 2 and I DID NOT FEEL LIKE RUNNING. I decided to go to the gym and had talked myself into just doing the eliptical--pick up the program again later. Once I arrived at the gym, I figured that I might as well do the program. So I just decided to run a little slower. It worked--as I finished the program--all that I could think of was wdaddy's encouragement....I could just think---I can't wait to tell my C25K family--that I pushed through. Thanks for all of your encouragment. It's good to have someone to be accountable to....

You guys are the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran Week 5 day 3 - 20 minutes!!!!!!!! I was really unsure if I would make it but I did :cool2: Still did my sprint at the end - but started tiring out with 15 sec left - had to slow down right at the end. I knew I didn't have the energy for the sprint but tried it anyway.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
