my stomach is embarrassing me!

It seems like I have a new issue every day but really this one has been going on since I was banded and I'm just bringing it up.

Is my stomach going to gurgle for life? It is more than growling because it is hungry. It sits and rolls, churns, and makes the most obnoxious noises.

I teach jr. high and high school kids and I can tell you, standing in front of them and my stomach decides it needs to talk over me, is SOOOO embarrassing. I was sitting next to one of my kids helping him with some problems and my stomach rolled for about 5 minutes. I got up after the first and got my bottle of Water thinking it just needed something to work on, but no....it only got worse.:faint:

I'm still on liquids and maybe that is it. Maybe once I start eating more, it will stop. I certainly hope so.

My geometry kids had a really hard time concentrating on quadrilaterals while my stomach was being so intruding.

Does anyone have any insight?

Steph

yea, I noticed that when I went to solid foods my growling stomach seemed to subside. It still gets going sometimes though... just not as bad. I haven't had my first fill yet. I wonder if the noise will return when I hit the "sweet spot"?

I will gurgle and squeak as food goes through. We won't mention the burping and (ahhem) gas that has increased since being banded. I do still get other noises as I get hungry but certainly less than what you are describing!
