I’m so confused, I’m 3 weeks post op. I’m back to work and working hard to sip my Water but I’m only taking in like 250 calories a day! Is this normal? Anyone have any tips?

I struggled with getting enough calories in the first several weeks. Still have days, that I barely get in 500-600 just because I am not hungry. Try a couple of Protein Shakes a day...@150-180 calories each, that will give you at least 300+, plus, it will count toward your Fluid total. Good Luck!

I agree with Luna Girl, Protein or Meal Replacement shakes were the only way I could reach my protein goals and get around 600 calories a day in the beginning.
Everyone is different but I felt very tired and dizzy if I didn’t get in at least 600 calories a day.

      Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
      I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
