Chest Spasms, day 2 post-op

Hi,

Has anyone else experienced random chest spasms since having the surgery? I can be just sitting there and my whole chest will constrict as if In a vise , leaving me unable to breathe while it happens.

Glad you contacted your surgery & it’s ok. Always give them or your medical team a call if something feels strange for you or you’re in pain. Better to be safe than sorry.

I know this has prob been resolved for you, but for anyone else lurking with the same question, I have the same issue since surgery- and I'm 5 days post op. Feels almost like early labor pain, but in my diaphragm. Comes in waves that peak, that I breathe through. My Dr sent in a script for a sublingual pill to dissolve under the tongue for cramping, but also said it was normal and will pass
