I think if it were me I would ask them again specifically about Calcium. Assuming What stloser said above is correct about Calcium taking a long time to register as low you may not want to wait till your labs show a deficiency.

Agreed. I have video meetings with both next week and will ask for sure.

I agree. Just ask them to clarify to be safe. Every doctor is different, and again, it may be that mine was worried about malabsorption because of the type of surgery I had.

So for my Calcium, it didn’t show in blood tests but in a bone scan. I didn’t take supplements for a year and developed osteoporosis. Dr prescribed annual infusion of Reclast because Fosamax to hard on the stomach. Really helped. Now I only have osteopenia and hopefully in another year will have sufficient bone density to be “normal “.

I have been taking Wellabs for many years
the whole family got hooked on them))) I used to order from the аmаzоn, now I found their official website. аmаzоn is much more convenient, this is understandable, but there are more discounts on the site

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
