Today I had an unexpected and surprisingly satisfying NSV. I noticed that my belly button shrank. It's about 50% shallower than it used to be! Who knew I would be so pleased about less depth to my belly button? ?

I can bend now and not almost die getting up

Not sure why, maybe due to not consuming sugar or so few carbs so far...but I have no body odor. Have not wore deodorant since day before surgery. ☺️

Cutting toenails no longer feels like an Olympic event. Also, not eyeballing your parking job wondering if you can get into your car... that's a big one for me.

oh yeah! Loving the feeling of not dreading if my shoe lace is untied or I need to bend over to pick something off the floor.

Now that you mention it……, I often forget these days and it’s not really a big deal because it doesn’t smell like really bad BO. One of the reasons why I forget is because usually I am reminded by the BO smell while I get dressed and I don’t have that anymore.

no only can i cross my legs..... I can do this....

I bought a size large bra! A size LARGE! And... I've never bought fun socks because I couldn't get them up my calf. They always slouched at my ankle! Check out my protest socks!

Very interesting! When I stopped eating meat, I noticed my husband (still a carnivore) smelled like iron.

I’m scheduled for VSG on Tuesday (5/25). I’m excited to be able to do a cartwheel with my niece in the (hopefully near) future!

I'm only at the dreaded very low calorie, low carbohydrate liquid pre-op diet stage, but I've noticed my fierce migraines (with aura) have vanished. Completely. It's wild.

So I'm hoping my most beloved non-scale victory will be freedom from migraines!

Has anyone else had their migraines improve after surgery?

I got a new NSV...at work they have the temperature scanners where you stand in front of a screen. The screen has the outline of a person to kind of guide you on where you're supposed to be standing. I didn't used to fit in the outline, now I do!!!!!!!

Love it! My son told me I looked stylish yesterday and my husband said I looked svelte. I was not stylish in my plus clothes.

Kids say the funniest, cruelest, and most sweet things sometimes haha. I always ask my daughters opinion on outfits because 4 year olds are brutally honest and my sons would lie to make me feel better Haha ?
