Progress Photos - 6 Months!

Recommended Posts

Today marks 6 months Post Op!! I'm thrilled with the progress so far, and look forward to continuing my journey. I'm down 71lbs so far. I need to lose 19 more to get to a "normal" BMI, but would ultimately like to lose another 10 after that, to get down to 130.

My before pictures are from my sister's bridal shower and wedding, the only time I let someone actually take my picture. I hated being the "fat bridesmaid" though! Please forgive the tight clothes in my "after" picture, but I wanted to wear something that would really show off the the progress I've made. Someday I hope to be confident to wear tight clothes like that out in public, but not yet! LOL!!

Well there you are!! Nice work, lady. You must be feeling like a gazillion bucks. ♥️🔥💪🏼

P.S. I don't think your clothes are too tight at all. In fact, I think your top could go down a size...i see some pooling fabric at the side! My own personal motto is the tighter the better. Show em what you got, baby.

P.P.S. Loving that ottoman in the background...would go perfectly in my tv room, lol

Thank you everyone!! When I look at myself in the mirror I see some changes, but when I look at the photos, I can really see the difference!!

If I had your figure, I'd wear skin tight clothes all of the time too!! LOL!!! Or walk around naked!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
