August 2020 Surgery

Has anyone been scheduled for August? Some of my appointments were Telemed, during the Covid-19 shut down, so I was starting to doubt that my surgery was going to happen. Things are moving forward. I have not gotten an official date, but last week had a Sleep Apea test. The August surgery was noted in my referral, and since then in another appointment. It seems like a long way off, but time has a way of going quickly, especially when you have things to do.

That's great news. Congratulations, and best of luck.

I believe, when everything is on track, they move along fairly quickly. Good luck.

I’m August 7th. My program has a very strict two week prep. I can have seven Premier Protein drinks a day, 2 cups of broth, one Sugar free ice pop, and two sugar free jello. No solid food at all for two weeks. I have everything in the house so I am ready to go!

I am only allowed 3 protein shakes and then I can have jello, popsicles ( sugar free) and I can have 3 broths. I have to stay under 500 calories. Also no souls. I start on Tuesday. Good luck on your adventure I

That’s great good luck to you too! I am on the pre-op diet. I have two Protein Shakes and one lean cuisine under 300 calories everyday. How is your pre-op diet?

That sounds like a tough diet, but it help having a goal that's close at hand. Good luck.

I tried Ensure Plus in Vanilla. It's higher protein and not bad.
