Memory Lane: want to share a first or old post?

Recommended Posts

I was trying to remember a few details on my weight loss timeline so I started reading my old posts. I had such fun reading it, A handful of posters are still active here from when I started and have really been a source of encouragement and support for me. I honestly don’t think I would have been as successful if I hadn’t jumped in and started posting. So thank you all, It’s comforting to log on and recognize people and meet new people. The people that are no longer posting were also a huge help, I hope they are all doing well. I tend to check the same threads when I log on so I probably miss a lot of what’s going on!

It is kind of like having a journal, I’m so glad I kept active. If you are a newer poster stick with it, it really helps.

I also had a good laugh reading through old threads! I kind of miss the monthly challenges that @GreenTealael used to host.

If anyone feels up to it post any old posts, I found it very therapeutic and fun.
Ps. @sillykitty I forgot you got me hooked on statement necklaces!

I was a lurker on this forum for months before I posted. Here is my first post, March 29, 2019:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
