Changes "Up Top:" What Helped You Most?

Recommended Posts

Hello my fellow ladies!

I have another question. It's a bit uncomfortable but I am just curious.

As we all know, it's inevitable that breasts are going to (for lack of better term) "shrink" after surgery. This has been bothering me a bit as shopping for bras and finding decent tops has always been a challenge for me, regardless of my size. I just have weird shaped breasts I guess, lol. Anyways, I wanted to ask what helped those of you who already had the surgery? Are there specific brands or types of bras that worked best for you? How about plastics or silicone prosthesis? I know they make "breast vests," which are a mere hair of the cost of implants. How about breast lifts? Anyways, I just wanted to ask what worked best. I know it's down the road for me but I like getting ideas beforehand. 🙂 Thank you!

mine didn't really shrink - they just deflated. So I looked like I was 80 years old. I had a breast lift about six months ago, and they look great now!

@catwoman7 do you find that they look bigger lifted? or same size, just higher up?

they look like the boobs of a 16-year-old (actually, better than when *I* was 16!!). High on my chest and upturned. I wear a smaller bra size (maybe a B - but I always wear light-support sports bras now, so I'm not 100% sure. But the plastic surgeon said I'd probably wind up with a B cup, and I'd say that's probably about right. I wore like a DD before) but they don't look too small since they're high and perky. I love the new look!!!

he would have done implants or a fat transfer if I wanted more volume, but I told him I always wanted to be a B or C cup, so I declined. I never liked having big boobs. I'm super happy with them!

Cannot relate actually 😂

I have always been a small-boobs kinda gal. Even at my heaviest around 180kg they honestly were not much lager than a B. I wonder if I have been the only big girl with small boobs in the world sometimes. Most others in size do have knockers to puch the lights out on a man.

I do feel them change as my weight changes, but not that much.

Issue is finding clothes and bras for all of us. I cannot find good bras since I need them to be small i cups, with wider than a regular B which is mostly in the range 70-85. Tops won't fit me over the stomach if they shall fit over the boobs and so on.

I can relate @Msmocha!!! I am a B cup mainly at times I can fit some C cups. I've always had issues with my chest not filling out the larger size shirts I need. I'm wondering how mine will change after surgery. I'm scheduled for 12/16

And another B-cup princess here, no surprise- cause I believed I was Junior size under all the former fluff, I too once WAS a DD, albeit saggily, hmmm did I just invent a New Term? Anyhoo,Juniors always were less busty than the AVERAGE/ Misses palate. My orthopaedic used to teased me a trifle because I told him I was an OBESE Athletic personage, told me THAT was an impossibility, Well HaHa and snicker, guess I won THAT fight , he recanted last time I saw HIM, said he guessed I knew ME better than He Did because THAT is exactly what I am turning into, maybe never Sprinter material or size, but I am B cup, no tummy paunch, hardly any backside after once having one large enough to show drive- in movies on, shape to my legs, diminished thighs, no cellulite dimples any more, oh the skin is still a little saggy, too many years being stretched out of shape, but covering with clothes pretty okay and I'm turning into a Foxy 70+ after all the sorrowful years, the person who thought there was No Hope, that LIFE held nothing GOOD for ME, like a Phoenix I am re- borning from my Ashes and learning to fly on Those new Wings. Where will my final destination be? Not even I know, but I find I am THE RIGHT WOMAN for THIS TASK! So as I make my Contrails, watch up above YOU for truly I WILL---FLY!

Thank you all for taking the time to reply! @Frustr8, @JediMom, @catwoman7, @ms.sss, and @MsMocie

This was helpful. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who despite being heavy, isn't heavy up top. Given my breasts were never bigger than a B cup before I got heavy, I think I'll start saving for a lift. It sounds like that's the most reasonable route to go. I don't really care to have large breasts tbh I just want shirts and bras to fit.

One thing I'm looking forward to is not having to make "frankenbras" (taking a bra then making adjustments with numerous safety pins and strap extenders because technically my size doesn't exist lol) anymore. Woohoo!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
