I did my own diet total of 9 weeks with surgery tomorrow I've lost 64lbs that's roughly 7lbs a week :)

mostly shakes & no sugar. No junk. NO cheating. Low calories low carbs!! (some tuna or veg or fruit)

It all comes down to how strict you are through out that process and of course you have to continue to work hard post op!

You mean the liver shrinking pre-op 2 week diet? I think maybe 3 pounds.

My pre op diet was 3 days of shakes and I lost 3 pounds.

Low fat low carb diet for 1 week. I lost 20lbs

How much did everyone loose during the liver cleanse?

I think a lot of it depends on your starting weight and how good you were leading up to the start. I'm 8 days in right now, I don't weigh myself every day but two days ago I was down 11. In all fairness, I had at least a week of "Last Supper" syndrome and visited a few places that I won't go back to again for months (or ever) so that only inflated the loss a bit. YMMV.

I’m starting mine 3 weeks before surgery, I meet with my nutritionist on the 22nd to see what my diet will consist of, it’s going to be $100 per week for me ?.

Omgoodness why is that, if you dont mind my asking?

My pre-op diet was 1 day and I am SO THANKFUL now lol!

Day 5 and I have lost 6.5 lbs. so far!

That is awesome, I think I am going to start mine today, surgery is not until Dec 10 but she gave me a list of things like chicken, fish, egg whites, etc. with a list of vegetables and the protein shakes. I tried the protein shake Unjury (Chocolate) it was really good. I am so ready to utilize the tool of RNY just to be on the losing bench! LOLOL Each visit I have maintained my weight of 266 well I gained 1.8 pounds and it was because I stopped using my food journal and I knew what I was eating was not right. I told myself I was having a food funeral but couldn't go all out because I felt guilty doing so and that 1.8# wt. gain showed!

Day five and I've lost 7 lbs so far.

To be clear, I'm on cream soups, lettuce, celery, cucumbers and shakes. I throw some protein water in there for some variety.[emoji1]
