Ok, I haven't posted in a while. I went to a wedding yesterday and though I could take some cute ones instead of being in my workout clothes. I still cant believe the difference in my face. I had some family from Seattle and even here in Sacramento who didnt even recognize me! LOL

Ok, this one is SO ugly - but as it is... It was just before surgery:

These are the ones taken just yesterday:

I need to take a more current full length picture but i thought I would see if i could get these to post this time. I am very happy that i had my surgery a year ago. I am struggling at this time getting a right fill amount, but I know I will and it will all work again. I have went from a size 30 jeans ... down to a size 18/20. That feels AMAZING!!!!!!

Here is my before/during/*almost after*. I'd still like to lose another 5-10 lbs., but I'm already 5lbs below my original *impossible* goal.

I'm still losing 2-3lbs a month. I'm afraid of reaching the point where the lbs come my off face and boobs instead of my butt--that'll be the stopping point for me!

I'm wearing size SIX Levi's and a women's medium top. I haven't been this small since the mid 90's.

Still happy, still healthy (blood sugar is NORMAL), no more aches/pains/reflux. Still the best thing I've ever done.

Here I am, down 30lbs! Not too much of a change, but at least I have a neck now! LOL

Still working on the chin, but I'll get there... Just had my 1st fill yesterday... WooHoo...

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
