I'm going to try it, didn't care too much for Crystal Light or Equate powdered versions, but I'll honor your recommendation.

Frustr8, I agree. All the other mixes I tried had too much stevia or that artificial after taste. So far I really like the Mio sweet tea and Orange. The lemonade is decent but I still prefer the real thing.

Decaf coffee and tea. Caffeine doesn't have a taste as far as I know so it's just a mentality IMO. I get decaf coffee same as I always ordered and it's fine. But I would watch out for fast food joints and their drinks because of the sugar content and the dispenser nozzles aren't always the cleanest from what I've seen on news reports. Good luck though!

I love iced tea! I'm not a southern belle so I never drank it sweet. I usually buy bags and make my own at home. My husband and I prefer Tetley. We just pop 2 or 3 bags in the 4 cups of Water and microwave it for 5 minutes and then add it to a pitcher of ice!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
