I have 2 friends that went to him...over there at mount sinai right? One friend looks so good!!!! I wanted to go to him!!! I even made an appointment...She has kept the weight off and went to get cosmetic surgery...SHE LOOKS SO GOOD!!!! But another friend had major complications!!! She had to have 8 surgeries to fix what he did and she cried to me and begged me not to go to him...she lost so much weight so fast because she could not eat anything...every time she ate she threw up!!! She was so week!!! All of her hair fell out...she had a career and had to stop working. Now she is better and gaining good weight back but she went to another doctor to fix what he did.

DO NOT PICK A DOCTOR BASED ON FEES/COSTS!!! This is your life and it's important that you pick a doctor with the BEST track record and not one who's the most convenient or the cheapest.

I used De La Cruz. So far, I cant really say anything negative. I also cant help you on the cost issue, I was an insurance pay. He did great with the surgery though, I have healed relatively quickly and an looking forward to losing more weight. Let me know if you have any questions.

He banded me yesterday and he was fantastic at my initial consult and at my surgery yesterday, but obviously, I haven't lost anything yet, so check with me again in a week or two for more. I feel fantastic, though- took a long nap today but am not too uncomfortable at all!
