Pickle juice 3 days post op?

Recommended Posts

Wouldn't it have too much vinegar for three days post op? Acidity may be too much for the newly healing stomach?

And also Pickle Juice is HIGH HIGH in Sodium(salt) , canned enough of them in my lifetime to know. Don't want your electrolytes out of balance at this stage of healing. And 2 Shea is right, full of vinegar(acetic acid) but also full of undisclosed sugar. Do you really want the extra carbs when you're working so hard to lose?

Enjoy it darlin', your body may just be craving it. When I got home from delivering Baby#1 I sat down and ate an entire can of 🍍 pineapple in a single setting, it seemed to be what my body needed too.

I guess you will know soon enough if your stomach will reject it, but it may be best to chat with your dietician in case they would prefer you not to consume it.

I can see that the product called Pickle Juice doesn't have sugar, but some of the homemade recipes look like they could have plenty of sugar.

Here is another thread which may be helpful to you

If you put the word pickle in the top left hand search field you will find lots of other threads regarding pickle juice which also may be useful to look at

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
