❤ JANUARY 2019 CHALLENGE ❤

Recommended Posts

Well... we've reached day 31! The last day of January... so now time for update pictures! It's really hard for me to see the difference, I mean really hard. I take solace in the fact that those scrub bottoms don't fit anymore. And as of this morning I'm 12 freaking pounds down! That put me in the mood to run, if you can't tell by my attire lol. See you all in February! 20190131_063324.jpeg 20190131_063242.jpeg 20190131_060926~2.jpeg

Well, I haven't met all my goals for this month. Primarily I wanted to break my evening snack habits. I'm better but not all the way there so I didn't lose as much as I wanted but I did break through another stall. I'm officially ending the month at 220lbs. That means I lost 15lbs this month and.....

I'VE OFFICIALLY LOST 101LBS!!!!!

That's really really amazing!!!!

Ok, before/after, 15lbs down. I don't see too much of a difference but I feel great!

Same. I've been trying to keep my carbs around 30g a day but pureed bean have been a lifesaver! I've always loved Beans. I don't know if I can do the whole Keto thing and not eat beans. Rice and bread, and Pasta sure, but beans?

Overcoming Obstacles: I think it's the worry in the back of my mind this really won't work just like all the other diets have failed. I mean it's working so far, I'm over 25 kilos down, but when's the bounce back up gonna happen?

Same fear runs through my head. You just gotta keep reminding yourself to focus on the present and have faith that this time around will be different!

Ok strange thing is I only wanted to use timers consistantly and eliminate my use of Protein Cookies, don't judge me, but in the process I dropped out of a maintenance zone and lost around 7-8lbs... This far into the game that's nothing to gloss over. But I do need to keep some fat around for the possibility of Plastics.

*Maybe* I'll slow down on them 😓. I have a box that I need to figure out how to gift...

Maybe not 😓

Starting: 158ish

Ending: 150ish

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
