Ask your surgeon of course, but I was allowed blended bean and pea Soups, cottage cheese, ricotta and greek yogurt.

What are the directions in your post op dietary plan? What is considered full liquids for your plan? There are so many different styles and some full liquids crossover into purees...

I can’t have purée until I go for post op on the 28th. I can only have liquid and creamy Soups with no chunks! Just tired of the same stuff but I guess it’s not much longer before I can add more things!

I had my husband get me some Chik Fil A noodle Soup. It's not on plan for me, but I threw it into a blender and added some unflavored Protein Powder. Had 4oz of it and it was DELICIOUS.

Are you able to have pudding?

I'm on liquids until 12/27, so I feel your pain. :(

I never thought about getting a Soup and blending it that way. I will have to try it. I can have pudding but I am not much of a pudding eater but I do eat it every now and then. Thanks

I was allowed to have yogurt watered down with a little milk.

I also made sure that I varied my Protein Shakes. I had premier and Unjury chocolate, Syntrax Nectar lemonade and fuzzy navel, and some others. I also had some millie's sipping broths to use as some of my liquid so that I coudl have some savory. sometimes I'd add unflavored Protein powder - but I didn't love the taste.

I definitely need more variety in my Protein Shakes. I am sick of the chocolate and I have one flavored tropical fruit Premiere One. I need to try the Syntrax Nectar.

Syntrax has a great trial pack so you can try all of their flavors.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
