LaurynLove come over to the Under400 for the first time in 7 years or the Gals starting over 300 pounds thread(which I was original poster and started) we are here to support and love you. I only started in the mid to upper 300s but I too know the Plump Princess struggles and there have been others at your weight that have sought and found success. And one lovely facet, you will tend. to drop weight faster than average after surgery, it's almost a given. I have never tried Whole Foods Vitamins, considering their sterling reputation on other items, as long as they contain Iron and the trace elements they should be okay. I myself have been on prenatal vitamins since June except for a brief post-surgical period when they switched me to ground up chewables👅, ycch, never want back THERE again, loathed them. My prenatal are neat, sweet, small yet complete. And my blood labs have been just ducky!
Due to some other complications in my recovery I am on TPN, have had a PICC LINE in my upper left arm for 3.5 weeks, not as Scarey as it sounds, but I have twice weekly blood draws And everything is at proper levels where they should be.If you're curious about what happened, just ask, I have no problems discussing it. But you are very welcome on Bariatric Pal and we can help you further, just ask, okay?

I'm wondering if any of you are taking Whole food Vitamins post op... any suggestions on brands. My surgery day is January 24th 2019

I'm taking Source of Life Gold liquid. Expensive, but frankly they all are. This one meets my doc's B12 and Thiamine requirements, too, and I love that it's liquid (though it tastes terrible, truth be told). I have trouble swallowing pills since my surgery. I'm Iron deficient as well, so I take Floradix. Also liquid. Unusual taste, but I like that one.

Whole Foods brand specifically?

Usually your team will give you Vitamin guidelines but the very best ones will be the ones you can tolerate and will take regularly. I suggest buying trail/travel size first and everything post op from places with great return policies always.

Safe Journey 🎈

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
