Well thanks Mona , guess I'll go back and try again. Half-way expecting a call from my dietician/nutritionist Roy this AM, I swear everybody I tried to reach Friday had taken the day off. Funny, I still had to be alive THAT day. Going to be a stack of people returning my calls this morning. Hope this won't be a Monday to get me down. Got woke up today by a dude bawling me out for posting in the Guys Forum 3 weeks ago, maybe I was half-awake then, i don't remember doing it! And my day is off to a rip-roaring start!😋

Oh no... I hope you make some progress today. Don't let anyone play judge and jury with you... ignore everything negative. Happy thoughts and positive choices make the best outcomes. Be well.

I started Noom two weeks ago. Very happy with it. The focus is on behavior modification and breaking through the things that sabotage us. Highly recommend it if you are struggling with motivation or keeping focused on eating healthier.

I'm on week 10 on Noom. I highly recommend it. I'm two yrs out on my surgery but I still battle with stress and boredom eating. This has helped so much. Besides learning more about myself and why I eat, I've lost 10 pounds along the way!

Baritastic! It's specifically for bariatric patients and let's you track your Water, Protein, Vitamins, etc. You can set reminders/timers and it has a surgery countdown.

I use this app also. It's a great tracker!

I just heard about noom. com on DIY network tonight, has anyone tried them, as yet. They spoke about yo-yodieting and a few other terms near and dear to bariatric people. Is it motivation or what?

Very pricey but I have friends who have used it

I need to look at Baritastic.

I also recommend Spark People. They have communities with forums too including ones for Sleevers.

For motivation try the web version of model my diet (free). Let’s you plug in before and after weights. Since many of us have body size distortion issues, something like this comes in handy.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
