If money were no object...

Recommended Posts

I was just thinking about having to buy holiday gifts and paying to travel all over creation to visit family members. That made me think about being totally broke and what I would do if I suddenly became rich!

If money were no object, I would give money to charities, home school my son, get plastic surgery, and travel to fabulous locations like Hawaii, Alaska, and Australia (to start)!

Anyone want to play along? Then finish this thought:

If money were no object...

If money were no object...

I would:

1. Pay off students loans and other miscellaneous debt.

2. Buy my parents a home to retire in.

3. Set up college funds for my younger brothers and nephew.

4. Get a Tummy Tuck, breast, thigh and mons lift.

5. Make DH quit his job to pursue his dreams.

6. Buy tri-coastal homes; Hawaii, San Diego, east end of Long Island.

7. Start an event planning company, animal shelter, and free tutoring service.

8. Go back to school to be a Vet or Marine Biologist.

9. Build a dark room.

10. Travel.

I would have lots of plastic surgery.

Get my home finished being built.

Buy a Mercedes.

Buy my husband a yacht.

Donate to lots of charities.

Make sure no child in my neighborhood went without Christmas.

Give lots to the church.

Help all of my family members.

If money were no object, I would....

Take as many classes as I want, in whatever subjects I want, at any school that I want.

Travel to unique locations, such as Madagascar, the Amazon, Africa, the Arctic, etc.

Buy a home in any location that I want, including Cape Cod, Florida, Chesapeake Bay area, NYC, and Alaska, for starters.

Give my parents enough money that they could retire to any location they want to and live comfortably for the rest of their life.

Donate to charities of my choice, including wildlife, pet, and people charities.

Get lots and lots of plastic surgery.

Start a scholarship and grant fund for female scientists and budding scientists.

Aww, you spoil all the fun! (And Nascar isn't all that bad, at least when there are crashes, anyway. Other than that, it's a bunch of cars going around in circles. Is it bad that I watch stuff just to see people screw up?)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
