Anyone scheduled for December yet?

I tested positive for H-pylori, so I am on day 10 of 14 days of medication (20 pills per day UGH). I asked the nurse if this was going to slow things down or change the plan and she said no. As of now, I have my psych evaluation November 6th., Pre-Op educational meeting at the hospital November 20th, and my pre-op appointment with the doctor on December 6th. The only thing they haven't scheduled yet is my EGD. If I haven't heard from them by the end of the week I am going to call 1st thing Monday morning. It's getting close! Hope everyone is doing well and is on pace to have surgery still in December.

Sounds like you are well on your way!

I passed my clinical eval and I don't have H Pylori. My Iron and Vitamin D levels were extremely low so the doctor didn't clear me for surgery. I started a 12 week Vitamin D regimen and have to get 2 Iron infusions. I'll have my numbers checked again next month but a December date is a no-go for me. Good luck to you all that are moving forward!

I so know this feeling, and I am sorry that you have experienced it. I was looking forward to an end of October early November surgery, but ended up having to complete 30 days wearing a cpap first. Last night made 30 days, so I had them schedule my clearance followup for today! Day 31. I wish you well on your journey.

Hi guys, do you have appointments, classes regarding your upcoming surgery? Im not scheduled for anything yet.

@Anita watson, what stage are you at? Forgive me if you've stated this before, but I am a new comer. I "moved" here from the October Sleevers group. I do have all of the rest of my journey mapped out and dated.

It is frustrating and disheartening but we have got to keep moving forward. Fingers crossed that all goes well for you!

I have my psych evaluation, pre-op education class, & pre-op doctor appointment scheduled. The only thing I’m waiting on is my EGD.

Mine is the 14th. It’ll be here before we know it.

I finally got my date for my EGD. It’s scheduled for next Friday, the 9th. 🤞🏻 Hopefully my h-pylori is resolved.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
