I've just done my labs and am waiting to be admitted for my sleeve gastrectomy today. I'm very excited but slightly nervous. I'm alone in the waiting room since it's so early but I should have visitors later after the surgery is complete. Wish me luck!

My nurse has been amazing walking with me. Using the breathing spirometer is a pain in the arse but really drinking isn't as bad as i thought it would be. Like dory just keep sipping! I was out of it from pain medicine. Now I am more alert. No nausea or heartburn so far.

Thank you. I've been trying. They switched me from iv pain meds to the most terrible cherry flavored one i have to drink. It's so gross.
