What is your rate of weight loss???

Recommended Posts

That sounds rough. I'm sorry to hear all of that. Did they know that Lupus could cause those kinds of complications?
No they didn't. But they said it was possible. Especially with auto immune disease. Now I want to get to the point to enjoy my weight loss journey. I am feeling stuck in lbs. The dietician said it will come. The food line was feeding me 1800 calories for 12 hours a day. Which sucks!!!
I haven't been able to exercise.. because I'm exhausted. And my body still weak. But, I have Faith. It will come gradually.

My last statistical analysis was 3.4 lbs per week. But I am now in my longest stall of 3 weeks.

I think mine was about 2-3 a week after the first big loss. I am currently in a stall, only down a pound in 4-6 weeks, I can't remember because I am just pushing through. Down a total of 70 in 5 months.

I am 6 weeks post sleeve. Surgery weight 277 currently 239. Nearly a pound a day. Down 63 pounds overall since January and the pre-op diet.

I got the sleeve end of March, so almost 6 months post op. I’ve lost 70 lbs but the last few months it’s been sooo slow: I feel like I’m doing everything right but this last month I’ve lost 5 pounds and it just seems like I suck at this... I know there are stalls but it’s still very discouraging.

My surgeon told me to expect 8-10lbs a month.

That is normal, depending on initial BMI. It tapered to half of initial after a couple weeks. Then began exercising a lot, everyday, and I have maintained 3.4/week for that last 6 months.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
