That was quick

Had band revision to sleeve yesterday morning and 7:30. Went home today at 2:30. Would have been noon if the internist were in the building.

Surprisingly, I've been starving all day. Anyone else experience this?

I was hungry a few days after surgery. When I could eat more solid purée I felt better. I needed to eat thick things like peanut butter and hummus to feel full. I still get hungry and I try to chose things that will fill me-carrots instead of soup. I eat a lot of salads now.
I was panicking when I was hungry and thought I wouldn’t be successful or would be hungry all the time. I’ve lost 61 lbs in the last 4 months post surgery for a total of 82. I’ve lost 76% of my excess weight. Let me know if you have any questions!
