The NursePractioner at OSU, basic physical, talked about whether I had made a decision about which kind of Surgery I wanted. Told her yes and explained my rationale behind. my choice. Talked about whether I felt I could make a firm commitment yo such a permanent life-altering surgery. Asked me if I had a goal weight? Played it coy, asked what she thought doable having looked over my,health history. Eureka she gave the exact number I had already come up with. All in all a very nice first meeting, only thing I'm puzzled about, she asked if I had ever been diagnosed with bi-polar, one thing no one had ever suggested.. Then told me,instead waiting, would I please go d9 my presurgical blood labs done so they could address any deficiencies prior to my actual surgery. This was May 24th, I met with my surgeon July 17, was assigned a date on that day, met with a dietician again , a surgery scheduling zecretary, and told I wo7ld be meeting with an Anesthesia Resident on August 24, my PCP on the 29th, and my surgery would be bright and early, 1st case of the day at 7AM EDT on September 5th 2018. Please check in by 5 AM at the Main Hospital at Room# 205 in Rhoades Hall and my DAY OF DAYS Would start from there.
