Dannon light and fit cherry yogurt, fresh blueberries and chopped pistachios. Well the pistachio’s are more like fine ground. Going to use them in a pesto sauce for some zuchini zoodles later. I’ll let you know how that turns out

Gosh as usual, your meals look beautiful! :) Now you make me want to have a salad for lunch. I'll try to post pics. No strawberries and today is a no red meat day, so I'll do blueberry walnut salmon salad in your honor! :)

Yum!! Do you chop up the pistachios or can you get them crushed?
I recently saw a new flavor Light and Fit yogurt. It’s called Toasted Cocunut. I need to find out the sugars on it first but I was thinking about getting g that flavor instead of my usual strawberry and adding pistachios to it!

I usually like them courser chopped but these were leftover from making a pesto sauce with pistachios instead of pine nuts. I LOVE the dannon light and fit! I haven’t tried the toasted coconut yet but sounds delish 😋

I have the info for the Coconut Light and Fit Greek yogurt. It's 80 cal, Total Carb 9g, Fiber 0g, Sugars 7g, Protein 12g

I’m going to pick up some tomorrow when I go grocery shopping for the week. I know I’m not likely to crush the pistachios myself so I wanted to see if I could buy them chopped. I’ll ck on that too on sunday😊

Thank you. Looks like the same as the strawberry one. I’m going to change up the flavor and try it!

I like it, hope you do, too. It's a great way to knock down 12g of Protein for 80 cals!

PB2 Energy Balls (no bake). These turned out amazingly good and if omitted the chocolate chips could be sugar free. I also used stevia instead of the honey but I’m sure any sweetener of your choice would be fine
Very yummy and high fiber is a win win

And no after pic lol! It’s in my belly 😋

Those look fabulous, but I know I can't be trusted with them. 12 servings --> never gonna happen!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
