My company switch insurance companies so the new insurance will not cover my fills but you only go when u need them its my Dr. require me wait a entire month in between fills, but I have seen people on here that get fills twice a month. I hope my second fill last longer than the first one.;)

I don't really know. I just know that bc/bs ppo covers mine for now. I haven't been told of any limitations, and was even told for the first 90 days that I didn't even have to pay a copay. My 90 period will be up but I have one more appointment before then. I guess I'll find out after that.

I get fills when I feel I need them. In the begining we will need more fills more often. then the fills will space out. I had a fill about 3 weeks ago. I have ganed weight since that fill. I hate it but I need the restriction to keep the weight off. I called today to set up my 2nd fill and had to give my weights. I felt horible telling them I gained weight but I need this thing to work so I will live with that embarasement

Good evening ladies, with the cold season here, can anyone suggest over the counter cold remedies I can take safely with band. I would normally bye tylenol cold. I have no fever, just a itchy throat and cough. I am using Halls drops but I think I need something that will last.

Thank you all in advance for any suggestions.

What do you mean "...that you can take safely with the band..."? I asked my surgeon if there were any meds that I should avoid and she said "no". What did you hear?

P.s. I hope you feel better :scared2:

I have been going through a slight case of blues. I have been trying to get my spirits up with music, walking, even eating and nothing. I should see my Doc. if this continues, but I don't want to take meds. was on them 10 yrs ago.

I guess I'm just being a sour puss today

I think we've all gone through these feelings. I know I have!!! Let yourself have "the moment", then start new tomorrow.

food had been such a comfort in the past for me.. it's just a grieving process.. :)

Hey Redd,

I don't know where you are at in the journey but I wish you luck. I would ask for an itemized list of expenses from the hospital and ask them to sit down with you and explain it. It doesn't mean that they are getting paid before the house payment or electricity bill but lets see what they have to say.

I just told my wife over the cell phone not 30 minutes ago that healthy food is rough to digest at this point but chocolate always goes does easy. I have been working out like crazy so I am not going to get to concerned but I do healthy along with the bad stuff. I buy these little cups of cottage cheese to eat anytime I eat something stupid.

Another tip: Put your food on a child's plate and use a child's fork. You feel silly at first but it is much harder to take bigger bites. I had to slow Waaaaayyyyyy down from my usual eating and now stretch my meal over a 30 minute show of Everyone loves Raymond.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
