Lap band suddenly tight.

Recommended Posts

I was banded in 2010. I had all of my Fluid removed from my band about 4 years ago. The last week or so I’ve been having some stomach issues. Cramping in lower stomach, pain behind shoulder blades, GERD symptoms. They thought it was my gulbladder but all checks out fine. I was having some pain right where my lap band is, kind of gassy pain. Now am feeling like I have a fill that is a bit too tight but I had no fill at all. I always get tighter around my period or when I have the flu but I’m so confused as to why I’m feeling this way and am worried it has slipped or eroded. My port sight is also tender. Someone help! I’m having major anxiety and I don’t have very many options for doctors around her that will take a patient banded it Mexico. Can severe anxiety or stress cause this or is something seriously wrong??

I would seriously get to a doctor, port site pain and a tight feeling are not good signs. As far as doctors not taking patients because of where they were banded, if you have a doctor that tells you they won't treat you, I'd ask them if they remember their Hippocratic Oath...

From Combo to ala carte, my how meals have changed. Hubby and I would both get combo meals, and be able to finish them and that's after finishing off a basket of chips and salsa! These days we get ala carte or even share a combo. And I'm trying to be more conscious of the small bites. And trying to eat a little something in between. That is harder as I have always tried not to snack in between meals, but lately by the time it was time to eat, I'm not taking the time to chew and then it all goes down hill from there.  Still working on it and feeling the body changing YES!

NSV: yesterday a business man came into to see one of the bosses. He gave me a candy bar first and then the paperwork. I said I would be sure to give to supervisor. he says no candy is for you. I said its ok, he was , NO ITS FOR YOU. I said thank you , that I had had weight surgery so I tend to stay away from candy. He looked at me up and down and said you don't need surgery (probably didn't understand what I had said).  It's nice knowing that I look fit enough to where I would not need one, lol. Working out 25 out of 31 days definitely helps!
