Fried Chicken

Ok
My friend asked that I cook a batch for him because he could not do it himself and needed it for some work reason or another.
Not something I make EVER (and prob never again) so I never asked NUT about eating it. She's gone for the day

Ingredients:
Chicken breast
Spices
Flour
Oil

Has anyone eaten fried chicken ?

I ate a fried chicken strip in my salad. It did not bother me nor was I led down the road of eternal food damnation.

Never again. I have accepted the fact that I just can't eat fried food. Fired food, pizza, pasta, beer, etc., brought me the point of being dangerously obese in the first place. Not going back there!

The biggest issue with fried chicken is that it has a crazy amount of calories. Often has too much salt and is a gateway food to biscuits/slaw/other high calorie foods that are not gonna work unless y

I've yet to try full on fried chicken, however I did just the other day have some lightly breaded chicken cutlets. I had two small pieces (measured at about 2.5oz) and had no problem with it. I even got a little daring and dunked it in some buffalo sauce... I've been seriously craving something spicy.

Anyone have reccs on airfryer brands?

Just check slickdeals.net and hunt for one to go on a GOOD sale and make sure it's the size and features you want.

Odds are they are all the same ****

I want one - I want one! Do you hear me? Santa Claus?
If just tell your friend it’s not something you’ve made before and you don’t trust yourself to try it for the first time right now. Politely say no

I don't have a problem cooking foods I can't eat , the question was if it was in fact a food I could not eat. I did eat some, not a slippery slope because I doubt I will invest the energy and resources to make it again when I could just eat boiled eggs or beans lol
You can bake it on a sheet rack instead of frying. Kind of like shake and bake it’ll be crunchy and about 100 calories less per serving

Funny I haven't made fried chicken since this thread was created...

I make chicken wings in my air fryer, but I do not bread or coat them in anything except hot sauce... because that’s what belongs on wings.

I do not eat them every day or use oil to make them... but I honestly can’t taste the difference between these and regular pizza shop wings so they are probably not healthy.

But it’s been a super long time since I had proper wings from a pizza shop so maybe my memory is a bit fuzzy. Lol

Don't buy the Philips with the metal mesh basket. It's an absolute bugger to clean.

That’s the one we have! My only complaint is the basket is quite small. I was raving about air fryers to my brother and had to tell him I thought they’d be too much hassle for his family of six! Could you imagine how many batches it’d take to air dry dinner for that many people?

High fat foods don't make me dump, just foods that are high in sugar and/or carbs.

I really want this one! Which is ridiculous since I'm single and live alone. ?

I haven't had any since I taste tested many moons ago. But my dumping is random. No rhyme or reason

Me too but I still haven't pulled the trigger on an air fryer ... I'm just not convinced it will make yogurt tastier
