Staples or stitches

Did your doctor use staples or stitches to close you up & how many openings did he make?

I have 7 openings including the one from the drain and he used staples!

I’m not to happy about that! I have had 5 surgeries in my abdominal region & have never been closed with staples!

Neither, Kaiser used glue, so I could shower right way, they slowly dissolved over time, a week or so I think

I have 5 incisions and they were glued. I was lucky to have no issues with the incisions and they are healing great! I think it’s all surgeon preference.

I had 7 incisions. They used a glue that I assume was called Dermabond.

I have staples with my 5 incisions. I am 5 days out and no trouble at all with them. Just wondering how they are gonna remove them?
