Recommended Posts

boxing.gifCome on, Crazy Ates! Lets get moving! whoo.gif

This months goal is to get three exercise days per week, for a total of 12 days of exercise this month.

For those who made that goal last month and want to step it up a knotch, I challenge you to 20 days of exercise.

This is the kind of exercise that makes you break a sweat, gets your heart pumping, burns calories and tones those tushies!

(Be sure to consult your doctor before starting a new exercise program.)

Please post your name and exercise goals to this thread.

So I know that I need to do more exercise, but this month is going to be really tough, for actual legitimate reasons. We are moving Thanksgiving day (don't have to worry about over eating I guess!) and I had to sell my treadmill because we can't take it to the new place. Then we had to plunk down a chunk of change to move so I can't join swimming this month. So I am going to have to get creative or walk outside (which I really hate). However:

Goal: Exercise a total of 20 times in November.

I am SO freakin' tired of seeing the same number on the scales day after day after day after.....

you get the point!

I'm just gonna walk MAD on days when nothing happens!!! As opposed to just walking otherwise.

I totally flubbed the challenge in October -- too many excuses and none of them worth listing. Just DIDN'T get off my bootois and do it! (That's boo-TWAH for those of you who don't speak "Nana".)

And, I'm going to go to the gym next week if it is the last thing I do!

Hi everybody. Great exercise goals for November. Glad you're back Band Chick. I'm cheering for you and everybody else to make your goals this month. I must admit, I have to talk myself in to my walk alot of the time, but I feel sooooooooooo much better after I've done it. I believe it is helping me with my weight loss, but more than anything it is giving me energy and a mental boost that I need. If I start slacking off, please remind me how good it makes me feel. Anyway, as for my Novemeber goal, I'm going to go for 24 days of exercise this month. It is a stretch since I made my 20 days in October on the very last day of the month, but I think I can do it. Good luck to me and all you other exercising Crazy Ates!

I walked for 35 minutes today. DH went with me for the first time today and he was worn out after 35 minutes. I'm going to try to get out again this evening for another 30 minutes or so.

Now that I don't have my treadmill I am walking home after work everyday. It is only a mile and a half so I am going to jog at least half. I walked, walked, walked all weekend to make up for the days that I missed.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
